(Engineering) Honours in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Gold medallist from Banaras Hindu university, with over 50 years of experience in Design, Engineering and Construction of Mineral Beneficiation, Bulk Material Handling, Crushing & Grinding Mill Systems, Rotary Kilns, Rock Phosphate Grinding Systems etc. He worked with companies like M/s. Indian Steel and Company and M/s. McNally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd. Earlier as Technical director of M/s McNally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd., he successfully executed many critical projects which were first of its their kind in the country in the field of bulk material handling systems. <span class="textbold"><br> <br> Vice-Chairman - Mr. Y.P. Batra <br> <br> </span>B.Sc. (Engineering) Honours in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, from Banaras Hindu University, with over 50 years in heavy equipment design and manufacture, system design and engineering for hi-technology, material handling systems and equipment. Has served Indian Navy for 23 years, retired as Captain. There after held key executive positions in companies like Mukand Steel Ltd, Mumbai, TELCO, Jamshedpur, Mazagoan Dock Ltd and successfully delivered multi-functional projects. </p> <p><span class="textbold">Managing Director - Mr. Ajay Batra </span><br> <br> <span class="text">MBA from Cranfield Institute of Technology, UK with over 24 years of experience in banking, automotive, telecommunications and material handling industries. Experience on a variety of strategic corporate projects including business turnarounds, initial public offerings, acquisitions, joint ventures and disposals. Assumed charge as Managing Director in 2001 after sixteen years in Europe working with multinational companies like Case Corporation and British Telecommunications. </span></p> <p class="text"><span class="textbold">Director Projects - Mr. R. G. Kumar </span><br> <br> B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering), with over 37 years of experience in manufacture of process equipment and bulk material handling systems. His past experience include working with M/s Mcnally Bharat Engineering Company, Calcutta and K.C.P.Ltd, Chennai in the field of design and construction of Cement plants, Sugar plants and Mineral Processing plants. He has exceptional knowledge of system and equipment design and has received specialized training in USA from M/s Kennedy Van Saun Corporation and McNally Pittsburg Corporation on Bulk material system design. As President of M/s Marshall Sons & Company (India) Ltd., successfully built up the company and delivered his responsibilities. Presently handles BHP Chennai office operations as Director with overall responsibility for Marketing, Engineering,Contract and management of projects.</p> <p><span class="textbold">Director Marketing Mr. Sunil Batra </span><span class="text"><br> <br> B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from IIT -Delhi, with over 26 years of experience in automotive and machine tool industries and the marketing and manufacture of bulk material handling systems. Started working career with TELCO, Pune, involved with inter-departmental activities of auto production during the initial start up of commercial vehicle production. As a Chief executive of Hyderabad based press tool manufacturing firm, effectively handled the complete marketing and manufacturing activities. Joined BHP Engineers in mid 1983, early stage of plant erection and commissioning. He has been instrumental in building BHP's business in Indian and international markets.
